
Rules and Policies
​Our goal at Liberty Sports Park is to create a fun and welcoming environment that prioritizes the safety and security of our guests, staff and assets. The following policies and guidelines were created to help us maintain a safe and positive experience.
Our fields may only be used by those who have a reservation or who have been granted explicit permission to enter. Recreational play is not allowed, even when our fields are not in current use by tournaments or leagues. Our facility may be rented in increments of up to [#] hours through our online scheduling system. Click here to reserve a field. To maintain the quality of our facility and fields, we ask all visitors to be mindful of their use and refrain from any actions that may damage the grounds, equipment, structures, restrooms or other assets that are a part of Liberty Sports Park’s property. Fees may be incurred for any damage that results from a misuse of our facility or a lack of oversight. Our playground equipment and walking trails may be used without a reservation during our normal operating hours. Our hours are 9 a.m.-11 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m.-11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. All children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times while using our facilities.
As a community sports facility with a focus on youth sports, Liberty Sports Park will provide defined after-school hours for students in the Prince George’s Public School System and youth programs organized by the Maryland-National Park and Planning Commission.
Additionally, Liberty Sports Park will be utilized for youth sports clubs with tournaments for evening and weekend activities, as well as youth and adult league sports.
We expect all visitors to treat our guests and staff with respect. Guests who use offensive language or engage in disorderly conduct that could cause a disturbance during events or discomfort among other visitors/staff may be ejected from our property. Disturbances include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Fighting or provoking a fight
2. Using profane, offensive, racist or other derogatory language. 3. Interfering with a game or event
4. Intoxication
5. Engaging in illegal activities
6. Misuse of equipment, such as standing on chairs/benches or causing property damage
7. Trespassing
8. Taunting players, employees, referees or other guests
9. Engaging in unreasonably loud behavior that might disturb an event If you see someone engaging in behavior that may be disruptive or harmful to people or property, please contact our Guest Services team at [phone number].
We reserve the right to deny entry to any guest wearing clothing that displays offensive words or images or is otherwise deemed inappropriate. Additionally, guests must wear shoes at all times while using our facilities.
To ensure a safe and comfortable experience, the following items are prohibited for all guests while on our property:
1. Weapons (including, but not limited to: firearms, explosives, knives of any size, pepper spray, mace, stun guns and any other items that may be used as potential weapons)
2. Drugs
3. Alcohol
4. Outside food and beverages (aside from small snack items and plastic water bottles. Exceptions may be made for food or beverages that are deemed medically necessary.)
5. Glass
6. Lighters
7. Bicycles, rollerblades, hoverboards, scooters and skateboards
8. Pets (except for service dogs)
9.Grills of any size
10. Laser pointers
11. Fireworks
12. Noise-making devices that may detract from the overall guest experience, including airhorns, megaphones and sirens
Any item deemed to be hazardous or inappropriate by facility security or staff
Liberty Sports Park is a smoke-, vape- and drug-free facility. Smoking cigarettes, e-cigarettes, pipes and cigars is prohibited. Illegal drug use is also prohibited and will result in ejection from our property.
Guests are not allowed to bring alcohol onto our property for any reason. Intoxication will not be tolerated and will result in ejection from the property.
All cups, wrappers, bags, food waste, plastic containers and other trash items must be placed in the designated bins or removed from the property. Trash receptacles are located around the facility grounds and within all restrooms. Fees may be incurred for trash that is left behind following facility usage.
Due to crowd flow and safety concerns, solicitation is prohibited on our facility grounds at any time. This includes the distribution of flyers, pamphlets, brochures, gathering of signatures, picketing and unauthorized merchandise sales. Any guests who are engaging in soliciting behavior will be ejected from the property.
Liberty Sports Park reserves the right to cancel tournaments, leagues, games or other reservations due to severe or inclement weather to protect the safety of our guests and staff. Our personnel continuously monitor local weather conditions and will notify guests with reservations that may be impacted. If a reservation is canceled by Liberty Sports Park due to hazardous weather concerns, guests may choose to reschedule to another open time slot.
Guests may only park their vehicles in the designated spots within our parking lots. Liberty Sports Park has 550 lighted parking spaces available onsite for the convenience of our guests, including spaces that are reserved for guests with disabilities.
Guests may not double-park or take up more than one space with a single vehicle. Parking in the grass or along driveways/walkways is not allowed and may result in towing. Additionally, vehicles may not be parked in our lots overnight.
Oversized vehicles, including RVs, campers, trailers, semi-trucks and buses are not allowed unless given explicit permission.
